  • Creating a 3D net in Illustrator?

    Hey guys,

I need to make a 3D net covering a map area.

The net will have to look like this: https://imageshack.us/a/img89/517/kampilosi.jpg

How can I do it in Illustrator from scratch? Is there any tool like Photoshop’s Liquify that works with vector graphics (deforming the vector points, not the pixels)?

If not in Illustrator (though this could be very time-saving), can I create it from sratch on another application?

Any would be appreciated! Thanks in advance! 🙂

Generally, you would want to do this in a 3d app like Cinema 4D.
But if you want/need to do it in Illustrator I might use Object/Blend and Object/Clipping Mask/Make.
The attached file shows what I mean…
