    A bullet has a 3D dimensional Shape,

After EFfects’ 3D layers are flat flat flat postcards in space.

So you need a 3D app or 3D plugin to do this, like Zaxwerks

Cinema4D, 3Ds max, or Maya would give you the best results. I’ve experimented withmaking Bullet caps but have been unsuccessful.

The only thing I can come up with is Using spherize and CC cylinder.

[The Crestomizer] “The only thing I can come up with is Using spherize and CC cylinder.”

Which is also very limiting because the 3D representation of the cylinder exists on a 2D plane, you’ll have to animate positions and such inside of the CC Cylinder effect. In addition it doesn’t put a top or bottom on the cylinder =O

Best to work with a real 3D app in this case.
