    Hello people,

I am in the process of creating a graphical flow-chart using Motion. The camera basically tracks across the individual chart boxes one by one revealing the text. I would like to then have the camera pull out to reveal the full flow chart in 3-D glory but when i do this the whole chart looks incredibly flat.

Now my question is this, is there a quick and easy way for these chart-boxes to appear as though they have depth i.e. 3-D?

Short answer- no. The 3D in motion is technically 2.5 D like After Effects. In other words it’s essentially flat planes in 3d space. If you want full blown true 3D depth I’d go with Maya or Cinema4D.
