December 13, 2012 at 12:34 pmYes I realise that, Mike, but my point is that to properly assess an update you must do a full project – perhaps a couple of days work over the course of a week or so.
If during that time I feel the upgrade is worth the extra money I will buy it. If not I won’t.
However I still want to be able to finish the project and give it to the customer whatever my decision. I didn’t buy VP8 or 9 as it didn’t run as well on the PC I had back then but tested them both.
I won’t risk doing a whole project on VP12 in case I feel the upgrade is not that useful to me in which case I would have to do the whole thing again on VP11.
Why, Sony? – If a scum-bag pirate wants a free copy he’ll find a way. It’s the legitimate users who you are alienating.
