  created date in column view?

  In Vegas Pro 11, in the trimmer, how can I display a column and sort by created date?
  If I right click on a media file in the list, and go to View/General, I see the created date is in there. What am I missing to display this so I can rename clips but keep them in order shot?
  Sorry for what must be dumb question…
