Created a write on effect but can’t see .mov underneath
I created a new composition, laid down some text, did the brush “write on” technique, deleted the masks, inverted…everything to complete the 15 second writing piece. AND…it works great.
EXCEPT…now I want to drop in a back ground, some graphics, .mov’s etc., and no matter what I do I can’t get the white back ground on either layer of the write on segment to go transparent so it writes on my graphics back ground without screwing up the actual write on segment I made.
I’ve turned on my transparency switch, worked with blending modes, everything I can think of.
What am I doing wrong?
