“Create Shadow Catcher,Camera & Light” option is not highlighted.
“Create Shadow Catcher,Camera & Light” option is not highlighted after the 3D camera tracker is finished it’s job on ANY footage. I’m trying to follow some “3D Type integration” tutorial here and there and apparently this step is one is one the first and crucial point. Am I missing something? This is the last version of After Effects btw…

OK… Solved…As I thougt it’s a very simple twist. Just needed to switch from Classic 3D to Ray-traced.

I think you need to switch from Ray traced to Basic renderer. Check this article on Shadow catcher, maybe it will help out:
