I’m using PPro CC 2014. How can I set up to record a mono track for a voiceover? I’m using a Firewire 410 that has two mic inputs, so in PPro in the audio track mixer it gives me the input option of channels 1 and 2 as stereo but not individually. The problem is if I record this way I of course have audio on one side or the other. Where is the switch to tell it I want to record a mono track? I’ve looked in the help files, preferences, etc. and it’s getting frustrating to not find an obvious switch on a track to just select what I want.

    thanks

new to PP here also. I think you can record your track and place it in the browser and right click on it and “modify audio tracks” and tell it to just use 1 track.
