Create choppy “Skype” video effect
So I’m trying to make a video that was shot on a sony EX-1 look like it was actually shot on a crappy skype webcam. Think 15fps, blurry, etc. I’ve tried dumping a bunch of filters on it in FCP but it’s not so great, I used the G Speed plugin to get it to remove every 2 frames, but the audio loses sync.
any suggestions? doesn’t HAVE to be just in FCP, could also use after effects etc.

If it’s not too long a clip, you could also go in a duplicate some frames randomly to give it more of an analog, less exact strobe effect.
