    Create Alpha Channel TEXT

    Hey guys,

    What is the easiest way to create Alpha Channel TEXT for Sony Vegas Pro insertion?

    1. Photoshop> Create the text> output a PNG

    I would use the Text Generated Media or ProType Titler before I would go out to another program, but if you like working in Photoshop, then PNG with transparency is the best way to get these back into Vegas. Don’t forget that images have a Pixel Aspect Ratio of 1.000 and your video project may not so use Photoshop’s ability to deal with non-square pixels or make these adjustments yourself by calculating the correct size for your text image.
