create a water drop effect?
Working on a beer spot. Want to show video images as if inside a bottle. Over this, I would like to roll a bead of water (effect)down through the frame with the video image underneath distorted as if seen through the water drop. Any clever ideas on how to create this effect using Boris?

Sound’s like you’re looking for the “Ripple Filter”. Check you filter manual under help in Red and search the PDF for ripple filter.

You could also try making the water bead in photoshop, then using the displacment filter and using the luminance values of the water to create the displacment. You will then want to re-composite the water over the affected imges using one of the composite modes, ie overlay.
