Create a Vector object from Raster
I have imported logo.psd in illustrator which has a logo in black and white background….
I want to create a path around it so that I can convert it into a vector object and then scale it to my liking without loosing quality….
I feel that because its completely black on a white background, I should be able to exclude it. (I can’t use the pen tool to manually create an outline as its very complex)

Not sure if I understand You well, but if you need to trace that bitmap psd to a vector just use the LiveTrace tool and play with its presets…
