I am doing a project where I am using 100 flags from different countries. I want them to fly by at an angle starting from the center of the screen and then moving out of the screen. They will be divided so that half will come to the right and half to the left. I can make the angle I want but cannot get the ribbon effect. The flags just change from one to another in the same position. Can you help? Thanks

Not sure what you mean by ribbon effect. Can you elaborate?

What I have is each flag imported into a timeline as a picture instead of changing from flag to flag I want to have each flag “linked” so it looks like on long “ribbon” of flags that “stream” from the middle of the screen.

My first thought would be to create one graphic with all the flags side-by-side, then in Vegas, move the strip with track motion.

You can also make good use of 3D track motion by skewing the Y axis so that the strip can enter the video by breaking the plane of the background.
