  • Create a new menu as starting point for older video’s?

Posted by Ozvideo on December 10, 2005 at 2:46 am

I have over the past couple of years authored from scratch several DVD’s of our holidays. These include menu’s & chapters. Most of these video’s are fairly short. Is there any way to take the entire file structure of these video’s & using DVDA 2 just add a new starting menu which would have thumbnails on it what were linked to the first menu’s of these older video’s?

Do you have the source files? Or do you only have the DVDs? Do you still have the project files?

I still have the DVD’s & the DAR files only.

What you’re wanting to do would be extremely difficult. It would be much easier if you still had the original files referenced by those DAR files. Instead, you’ll probably be better off simply starting from scratch unless you can capture and create the same files used by those DAR files. Then you might be able to copy them between projects.
