Create 3d earth w/o cc sphere?
Is it even possible? I am teaching a small class on after effects and they have to use the cs4 trials which leaves out cc sphere and the idea for the course was to create a spinning earth on a starry bg (keep in mind this is extremely beginner and I’ll only get 4 two hour courses with them) but I need some help as the trial version of cs4 seems to not include cc sphere.

Oh yea I definitely have thought about doing that but this was actually the students idea that they want to learn, not mine.

Be sure to give EXTRA CREDIT for anyone who gets the rotation correct on the first try without being told about it. Most newbies have the sun rising in the west.
