[Jeremy Garchow] “And instantly turn any movie in to a p.o.s., suddenly and without warning.”

It certainly would make it less likely for someone to steal the card with its new “protective” coating.

[Jeremy Garchow]”In a crazy form factor.
A 5TB TBolt to usb3 hub that fits in the palm of your hand good enough for a multicam or single stream uncompressed HD online. ”

I was assuming someone would get naked drives or remove them from the USB3 enclosures and rehouse as a TBolt RAID. I know some here aren’t keen on such build your own projects but my nerdy 19 yo stepson would think such a project is better than sex.

Can you do that with a thumb drive? It’s just a chip soldiered to a USB motherboard, or am I mistaken?

Put down the soldering iron Jeremy. OCZ has done it for you. A 3.2 terrabyte PCIe slot RAID drive with read/write speeds you will drool over. Perfect for editing high frame rate 3D 8k raw.

I must be must be a goof.

I know there are multiple ways to get super fast storage on to PCIe cards, TBolt enclosures and otherwise.

I thought it was pretty cool that’s 1TB flash drive that I can stick on my key ring will allow a multicam edit at 100+ MB/sec.

No power, no fan, no enclosures, just a USB stick.

    Apparently, I’m easily impressed.

    8k raw 3d? Meh. 🙂
