Crazy Audio volume issue with DVD Architect
I am using Telestream Episode 6 to render AC3 audio files, then importing into DVD Architect for burning. When I import the AC3 audio files into DVD Architect 5.2, the audio is there, but EXTREMELY low and no peaks are visible on the timeline. When listening in VLC or quicktime the file plays at the correct audio level.
I have drastically raised the DB and dialog normalization settings in Episode, which makes it much louder when previewing in an external media player (borderline clipping), but once again is barely audible in DVD Architect. All of my settings in Episode are compliant with Sony’s recommendation for DVD Architect AC3 audio (48khz, 192 bitrate, stereo).
Interestingly, when I import a WAV or MPEG-Audio into DVD Architect (also exported from Episode) the audio is at the correct level. Any ideas what could be causing this?
