I am creating a crawl like what you see on cnn, fox etc. I am using the just the plain old text feature of FCP adding drop shadow text size blah blah under the motion tab. My issue is that I’m getting a flicker in the text as it crawls. There is no deflicker filter under the filters tab. Any suggestions? I dont want to use boris live type, or motion it takes hours to render. Using the standard text in FCP renders much quicker. Thanks.

The issue of flickering title rolls and crawls has been discussed in countless posts here.
