Crashing While Rendering
All of the sudden my Renders started crashing and i dont know why, Im running after effects 7 on a Mac Pro Desktop top of the line, and at the end of the render a mesage comes up saying “Application closed unexpectedly” then it gives me an option to report this to apple or reopen the application. I dont know why its doing this, and i even uninstalled it and reinstalled it, could somebody please help me.

Is it doing it on the same frame?
Are you rendering to a movie file format?
I tend to render to image sequences so I can start from where ever a crash happened and after build any movie files I require from the image sequences.

Have you altered any of the memory settings in after effects?Regards Chris

Seems Intel mac users are having some problems, but Graham has a suggested fix…this link might be for you…
