Crashing project… Disaster???
Hello all,
I’ve been working on a project for four days, but now every time I try to open it, FCP crashes out. There were no problems until this morning, but even my Autosave projects have the same effect…
All other FCP projects open with no problem – it’s just this one.
I’ve tried it on all our other machines, and the same thing happens. I’m guessing this takes a corrupted media file out of the equation? There’s a few freeze-frames in the project – could they be a problem?
The project file is around 40MB, so big but by no means huge.
Also, I’ve trashed prefs and repaired permissions.
Does anyone know any way of getting at the information in a project if it can’t even open in FCP???

Hi Al,
Try putting the media off-line. if its opens, may be that you have some media corruption or so.
