crashing .aec’s
Anyone have any problems with importing .aec’s out of cinema 4d into ae?
Ae is crashing like no other — i think the file is 700 frames. I’m running a dual 2.7 g5 with 4.5 gigs of memory so stability shouldn’t be that much of a problem. No multipass either, just trying to get the camera in and then work from there. -

Have you updated the plug-in from Maxon’s site? Mine didn’t work at all, I updated the C4D to AE plug and it worked great.

yeah i have it – it usually works great also
i finally let ae run for a good half an hour (when i as eating lunch), when it was giving me the whirlie, and in the end I memoried out. How can I use all 4 gigs of my memory in ae 6.5 in osx? According to AE It is only using 2, not the 4.5 total that i have.
