  Crashes on Multiclip Playback

  I am having some issues with multiclip playback in FCP. The show I am working on regularly has up to seven cameras shooting at the same time. Whenever we multiclip 5 or more cameras the system will start crashing at random intervals when those clips are played back.

  We are on an XSans and running the most recent version of FCP (7.0.3).

  Our Comp specs are:
  Mac OS X 10.6.7
  2 x 2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
  6 GB 1066 MHz DDR3

  Any ideas?

  We did a system check and our CPU Usage is around 17%, Peak Disk Activity is around 21-26 MB/s
  Our MEDIA settings are HDV 1080i60
