Biggest problems so far, I have never had crashes before.

In the timeline I have 3 video and 6 audio tracks. Usually clips are not overlapping, but sound is. There is no effects, only one tape/clip has brightness correction. I also have enabled show audio waveform. Crashes occur mainly when I am trimming video or audio with cursor or right after that.

I suspect this cik-cak workflow somehow hurt to the stability. This is first time that I am editing that way. Did someone noticed anything similar?

    My specifications: 10.3.8, FCPHD, AJA LA, G5 2.5, 2.5 GRAM, G-RAID 500 GB FW 800

You’re on a pretty stable system. No 3.9. I guess you’ve the new Aja firmware. Try “repair volume permissions” in your hard disk utilities folder. If you have updated your system shortly and haven’t repaired permissions, this is your bug. Trash FCP preferences. Restart.
    Good luck

    Problem solved, I think.

I repaired permissiomns and it seems that was a trick. I didn’t do that before because I didn’t install any programs, but now I remebered that I put new plug-in in FCP.

    Thank you.
