    hello,
My adobe premiere pro (CS3) crashed. I made some pictures with the Canon 5D Mark II and I get MPEG Streamclip to transcode the files into Premiere. Now it appears the error – adobe premiere.exe crashed – Premiere and reinstalled still the same! Anybody know what should I do?

    Thanks,

    Paulo

    I’d imagine it’s a codec issue.

What’s your system specs and what the codec info on the clips/photos in question? I’ve had some serious issues with format compatibilities in the past.

Also, why are you using Streamclip on photos? Premiere can import most photos and can also natively import .psds. Why not try either importing the photos unaltered or passing them through Photoshop and saving as .psd?

    Hello,
I agree to be a codec issue, Since, Before installing the premiere Streamclip worked very well.
Streamclip I installed because I am starting to work with the Canon 5d mark ii to record image, The images are excellent! The Premiere does not support the type of video file from Canon transcoding is necessary.
What is strange is to reinstall premiere did not put back the premiere to work, Then I conclude it must be a codec own Windows???

    Thanks

    Paulo
