Posted by Jesse Glucksman on November 8, 2013 at 10:10 pmJust upgraded to non-beta v10. It crashes when I try to import an XML. Anyone else seeing this issue?

November 8, 2013 at 10:17 pmFCP 7, a feature-length project. I unchecked all the “automatically import to media pool” and whatnot options.

November 9, 2013 at 12:59 amCan you post a link to your xml?
Does the same xml work in v9?
Are all the source clips on the storage, what codecs are used?
Are there multi cam clips, compounds… etc..Details help others help you.

November 11, 2013 at 4:44 amHi, Peter. Sorry for the delay and thank you for your offer to help.
Here is a link to the XML: 6782_cbforcolor.xml.zip
I just got the project up & running in v9.1.6, and the only thing I did differently was to import all the footage into the media pool before importing the XML. The footage is Sony RAW F55, MFX files, plus a bit of h.264 from a Canon DSLR. Is it that simple, or is there something off with 10?
No multicam clips. Some shots with speed ramps, but those will have VFX and will be delivered back to me later. Nothing fancy as far as I know.
Possibly complicating matters is that the raw footage is 23.976 but the transcodes and FCP sequence were 24.
Again, thank you.

November 11, 2013 at 5:30 amOk, so I reinstalled 10 and the project translated over so I appear to be up & running, and the 23.976fps footage/24fps FCP XML is now the only issue. Fun times ahead.
