I’m having a problem exporting a movie with mp3 audio in AE 7.0. When I solo the track and play it it sounds fine. However when I try to export the whole thing to the wmv format the output has strange like “pops” or “crackles” in some places of the video. If I convert the sound only to the wma format and then re-export the video with that, it plays just fine. Anyone know why it’s not converting the mp3 properly?.. or what the problem could be??…

Oh, Dave. I’m so glad you got to say that again. If I had seen this question earlier I would have broken out the champagne in celebration.

Thank you for the replies. I’m very disappointed that After Effects does not handle mp3’s correctly since mp3’s are a very common format. I guess I’m gonna have to convert all my mp3’s to another format as I said converting from mp3 to wma and using that worked fine.
