    Cracked Disc

    Gurus,

    I have a DVD with a small (1/2′”) crack in it, running from the outer edge toward the center. It also has a small chip along the edge. I’m inclined not to try playing it for fear of it shattering in the drive. Anyone have experience with this?

    I doubt the disc will be affected by trying to play it, and it may or may play.
