Cool tut, yet again Aharon… One small point, as of release 9.6, the sweep nurbs function has been enhanced, you can achieve an animated ribbon look using the sweep nurbs function only. It’s not nearly as elegant a solution as Mograph, but for those without, it’ll work. Here’s a sample: https://www.birdhausdesign.com/cow/SweepRibbon.c4d

    Hi Aharon

Im a religious follower of your after effects podcasts, I’ve found them extremely valuable, from a learning perspective. I actually put a post some while back regarding getting help creating 3d ribbon, but i didnt get any response. So it was just by chance i was looking through the creativecow interweb, and to your latest post. Thanks very much!!!!

Bear thanks for the c4d file link, Its really appreciated!!!

    Cheers all
    Gus

Donlt take it personally. It was probably ignored because it’s one of the 2 most asked questions in the AE forum, and i think people have gotten tired of addressing it. Because of that, they added a new Frequently Asked Questions section at the very top of the forum, and that’s one of the questions.

Glad you are finding these videos helpful.

I’m also a fan of your tuts, Aharon.

One small point, which you probably know anyway, but it’s faster to set a keyframe by Ctrl + clicking on the small dots next to the parameter names than pulling up the Animatione>Set Keyframe menu.
