As a broadcast designer, John Dickinson is often required to create animated backgrounds and for him there is no better effect for creating backgrounds than After Effect’s Fractal Noise. Used by itself or in conjunction with other effects, the variety of backgrounds you can create is amazing. Here are some that John has created recently; feel free to use them as they are or adapt them for your own needs. Hopefully they will inspire you to come up with your own unique creations. To view these backgrounds, you’ll need the Professional version of After Effects and the Cycore effects included on the AE install disk. Have fun!
