    CE Time Shuffle

In this video tutorial, Jerzy Drozda Jr (aka Maltaannon) demonstrates time jittering effects using one of his presets. You may have seen this effect in movies like The Ring, The Cell, or Fight Club. You may still create this kind of effect simply by playing with the TimeRemap function, but it’s much easier using this preset.

Click on the link above to find Jerzy’s tutorial.

Is there a way this tutorial can work using a Mac?
I’m not sure if I can follow along with the requirements.

    To all Mac users:

Yes, you can still follow the tutorial on Mac. I never used Mac, but my understanding is that FFX files (AE presets) work on both systems: windows and mac. So to follow this tutorial you don’t have to download my CustomEffect installer. Instead download the preset alone. It is provided with the tutorial.

Simply download this file: timeshuffler.zip and unpack it. You’ll find two files inside.

    The files are:
    TimeShuffler.polyCE
    TimeShuffler_std.ffx

Simply copy TimeShuffler_std.ffx into your AE presets folder, and thats it. You can get rid of TimeShuffler.polyCE if you work on Mac.

    Hi everybody.

Since I’ve just installed CS3 I was able to check if my CustomEffect Installer works with CS3, and as some of you probably know… it doesn’t.

Currently I’m working on an update, so CS3 users could also use it.
    Sorry for the trouble.

    Cheers!

Any chance of timeshuffler_std for ae6.5?

    I simply can’t afford a legal upgrade to 7!
