    Oh… ah… and an extra tip:

    Since the Stroke plug-in is very limited, it can’t create strokes with different width for verticals and horizontals, which could add to the realism.

    A quick solution is to create a solid that’s twice the width of the comp, and do a horizontal scale to 50% (leave vertical scale to 100).

    Now draw your masks. If you apply stroke, you’ll see that there’s a variation in line thickness… A crude solution, but it works. One day we might get Illustrator brushes in AE, but until that day…
