Cow grazing on my Edit Suite
Maybe it’s just me, but:
After a weekend of down time, I’ve noticed a little animated cow, about the size of an icon, grazing on my screen. By the time my screen comes up from sitting in black, and I move my mouse, it runs off the screen. Once I noticed a box above the cow with some instructions in it. BUt again, it goes away too fast to read or do anything about.
Do I have some bovine (spelling?) virus? No-one else has heard of this?
I know… it’s not as important as not being able to render or something. But come on… it’s a cow…

His name is Bruce. He’s a Yak.
If you want to know more than that, I’m sure those two facts will be enough to get Google going.

Bruce the Wonder Yak has been visiting FCP users since version 2, I believe. Although most users have nver seen Bruce grazing, it is quite a surprise when you return to your open FCP and see this creature.
It has been discussed many times in the last 4-5 years.

No, this is not the first time Bruce has been the topic of conversation here @the FCP forum. It’s also generally perceived to be bad luck for anyone foolish enough to post any info about Bruce or his Yakdom.

I just saw Bruce for the first time this weekend after leaving the computer on and coming back later to continue the edit.
It was like seeing Santa for the first time. Kind of fun, actually.
