could this be a compression issue?
footage shot in hdv
edited in hdv
nested in a sd timeline
exported as qt movie
compresor then dvd sp
the final dvd looks fantastic but only to bright
all my attempts to control the brightness of the footage did not work
why my settings in the timeline are lost by the time the dvd it`s ready
I may been asking the wrong question before so here I go again.
Let`s say that you want to cut down the ammount of light in your final project. How should I go about? Apparently every attempt give`s me the same outcome.
A- cutting the ammount of whites or mids
B- cutting down the opacity
I also tried some filters with no success
The bottom line is that I need to lower the luminosity of the clip and make sure that during output to sd dvd keeps that setting.
Any suggestion please, or point e in the right direction.
The dvd looks fantastic it`s only to bright.
