could not output timecode from video out F350
We shot a piece in SD DVCam, and I read that by changing the Operations Menu/Video/To Output
TC, that this will show up in the Video Out from the BNC.I enabled TC on the ViewFinder Menu, and the one for TC OUT to Video Out,
but yet, all I got was the regular video less TC overlay.
I’d had to use the XDCAM software now, ingest the clip and add timecode with a generator.
Which is way slower.
Did I miss anything, I spend about 2 hours reading the F350 manual and gave up.
This is a waste for a client review with TC overlay…

Maybe my first post wasn’t clear but I am looking for some help
We have the cinelata F350 Sony XDCAM, and I wanted to do a client
review DVD directly from the SD output on the F350 WITH timecode overlay.It was shot a 35MB DV, so it is SD already.
Even though I went through the Operations Menu and enabled
TC overlay on Video Out, when I hit play I still got only the
SD video less the TC overlay.Did I miss something?
