Could not find camera at current time.
I get an error message that has me a little puzzled.
This error just pops up in a dialogue box. Not consistently, but intermittently:Could not find camera at current time.
Choose Layer>New>Camera to create a camera.I have a “master comp” that has multiple composites.
In the master comp, I have a “master camera”, in each “sub-comp” I have cameras linked to the master comp camera.It doesn’t crash the program or do anything else, but I’m concerned with it interrupting rendering.
Just a simple pick whip expression for the different options:
comp(“Full Composite”).layer(“Master_Camera”).transform.position

Is there any kind of duration mismatch between the precomp layers and the main comp? When it happens, does it break any of the expressions?

There is a “sort of” difference.
I have all my precomps at 10,000 frames. My master comp has been trimmed down to 500 frames.
The precomp layers are not trimmed down, but looking at my camera, adjustment layers and null layers, they are trimmed.
Besides the camera error, I haven’t noticed any other expression errors.
So you think having my master and sub-comps the same length will be more stable?
