I recently went through a bunch of crashes when revising titles in Boris 3D. I trashed preferences and reinstalled. Now I’ve resinstalled my OS. I’ve also copied my timeline into a new timeline (an old Avid work-around). My problem is this: many of my edits show old dissolves even when I delete them. It’s like an echo image of the dissolve. The only way I’ve been able to remove the problem is by match framing and then replacing the shot. It’s not hard, but I’m running out of time and have a bunch to replace. Does anyone know a better solution?

Try deleting all of your old video render files on your capture scratch disk, then go ahead and re-render your timeline. Good Luck.

Another posible solution: Open a new project. Select everything from your old project Brownser and drug and drop to the new one.
When I have prblems as yours, I do like dat and 99% of the times its works.
    salud.
