    Corrupted footage on render, flashing thick white horizontal streak

    When I render footage to H264 via Resolve’s deliver window the footage gets corrupted as seen in the still.
    Why do I get these white streaks throughout the footage? They happen intermittently and at different places on the image, flashing on and off. When I render in ProRes 422 they still happen just as frequently and are now in color.

    I am not doing anything to the footage, no color grading or anything else at all.

    My equipment: DV R12, Macbook Pro 13” mid-2012, OSX Yosemite.

    MacBook Pros are not ideal for Resolve. My opinion is that they just don’t have enough horsepower to do the job reliably.

    Yeah, that’s what I was afraid of. Is there a Mac-based system, used, for under $2000 that can handle the job?
