Corrupted files/offline files
Hi!
I have this repeated problem that files turning offline or just replaced clips on the timeline – I’m opening a project that I’ve been working on for a long time and some clips appear offline or worst I get different clips that I did’nt edit on my timeline.the way I solve it is to open a new project and import the old project and by that I reset the path. another thing I noticed is that after a crash a folder of the xdcam changed its name from 001 to “gibrish”001
I know adobe has problem with signs and different languages for files but it’s really annoying opening new projects and importing changing names… I’m also not sure that’s the problem
if anyone knows this issue?I’m working on premiere cs5 PC

…another strange thing just came up (happened also before) clips that I see in the timeline are not the same when I export- I mark in and out on such clip, export and it just export different clip
I’ll check it again but i think that if I open it in cs4 it wont happen just will take for ever
