corrupt .veg file? Help!
Here’s the error message I get when I try to open my project file:
An error occured while trying to load the project file ****.veg.
An error occured while reading the file. Make sure you have read access to the file/folder and that it is not corrupted.
This is a major project I have been working on for nearly a month now. I have several different file types I’m working with including .mpg, .mp4 .avi, .wav, .mp3, .jpg that I’ve pulled from various sources.
Currently, I have about 23 minutes of audio on the timeline on about 10 different tracks, although only 1 track has a full 23 minutes on it, the other tracks have sound effects on them and are not full. I also have about 11 minutes of video layed down between 2 tracks.
I just updated to version d this weekend, got the corrupted file message, reverted back to version b, and am still getting the same message now.
I am wondering if this error message indicates a corrupt file within my project media and vegas is getting stuck when it encounters it while trying to open the project file, or if the project file itself is corrupt.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
