Corrupt render files

Well, no I didn’t fix it, but I don’t have the problem anymore. I did a re-install of just about everything, went back to OS 10.5.5 as recommended in another post, then changed my render scratch disk to another internal drive, and I haven’t had the problem once. I have a deadline this week so I’m not going to mess with success until after that. You didn’t mention what kind of drive your using, but mine is a Ciprico raid. I tend to think that it’s the culprit as John mentioned earlier in this thread. I went to the Ciprico forum and saw all the render/driver posts and decided I’ll wait for now before I tackle that. I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer right now. Good luck!
