    Using PC Media Composer

I received a project via Lacie Hardrive from a PC Media Composer (I believe it was a MC)
    .
It came in the form of a consolidated bin. Lots of graphics and Mattes.

I took the bin into a new Symphony project, then I got moved to a media composer, I consolidated onto a LAcie, then consolidated onto the Media composer, all within the same project.

I am getting all kinds od Media exception errors, and cant get into bins that I need, and am having to force quit any time it wont let me into a bin.

    Did I do something wrong?
Is my project corrupt because I went from symphony to media composer?

    Hi,

The first thing to try is deleting your media databases. Exit Media Composer, then open your OMFI MediaFiles folder and delete the two files called msmFMID and msmMMOB. When you restart Media Composer, they will be rebuilt.

Another thing you might want to try if this doesn’t clear up your errors is starting a new project, creating new bins, and dragging your media from the old project with all the corrupt bins into the new project.

    good luck,
    Carl
