  • corrupt file on card?

I filmed 14 interviews the other day. All of the interviews were written on a compact flash card in my Canon 7d. When I transferred the interviews to my computer and tried to preview them, the computer did not recognize one of the interviews. The file size seemed appropriate size and there didn’t seem to be any problem during the recording. I placed the card back in the camera and it wouldn’t play back there either. My assumption is the file had become corrupt at some point. Is that the likely answer? If so, should I get rid of the compact flash card. I have probably reformatted this card at least 10 times over the last few years.
