What would be a way to fix some shadow problems due to a poor lighting
    situation?
I have a guest speaker at a podium and the lights were positioned more on top of the person because he was leaning over the podium which created darkening around the eyes and facial features.
I tried to follow a tutorial here on CC on fixing exposer in 3 way color correction, but the version on FCP they were using was an older version so some of the steps I could not follow. So I could not get to the same result.

I just want to lighten up the dark areas with out effecting the rest of the frame.
I have the lastest version of FCP.

    Thanks!

Google “Final cut marcus plugins” or “Final Cut Haiku Face light”.

When I follow the directions to install the plugins the path is different when I try on my machine. I can not find final cut system support>plugins. Also how do I unzip the files on a Mac?
I am on a newer Imac.
    Here are his directions.

Once downloaded the plug-ins need to be unzipped and put in the plug-ins folder (Library>Application Support>Final Cut Pro System Support>Plugins).

These plug-ins will appear with the Color Correction filters.

    Thanks for your help.
