  • Correcting audio sync issues, including subclips

Whenever I capture the audio seems to be off by some random amount.. I’m consigned to that for now. I just want to know the best way to work around it.
I’m doing a lot of keying so I’m mostly working in after effects, I want to displace the audio by a set number of seconds or something like that and have it affect all the automatically created subclips.. is there some way to do that without re-encoding everything?
    Thanks for reading!

If you get a chance, fill out your profile with your system spec’s so we can see what you’re working with.

Generally, FireWire captures don’t have sync issues. They usually pop up when you are doing an analog capture.
What is your hardware and workflow.

Obviously, it’s better to fix the issue than it is to have to spend time syncing your files.
