I have some interview footage (shot on dvc pro) that was accidentally shot with the camera mic instead of the lavalier so it sounds hollow. Is there any way to sweeten the audio up in Avid or am I going to have to have my footage re-shot? Thanks for the help.

Do you have access to Protools?
One time I did get away with doubling the audio track and addingplaying with focusrite d2 settings.
its obvious you will also have to EQ the thing to death 🙁

Unfortunately I don’t have access to any audio software outside of Avid. Can the EQ be tweaked enough with one of the audio tools?

It should be but ultimately its your choice (your ears) 🙂
