  • Correct way to delete plugins?

Posted by Bill Thomas on March 17, 2009 at 7:39 pm

I have a bunch of Demo plugins that our last editor installed and now they;re sitting there useless. But I would like to know how to safely (and permanently) delete them so they don’t affect my original plugins.

The 2 sets I need to remove have a NI and BCCS in front of them.

    Thanks all…

    Bill

Just delete them from the plugins folder.

The Boris effects I was able to do that.

But the NI plugins from FXFactory I deleted from within the FXFactory interface.

    Thanks again,

    Bill

What about turning them off in get info window? Do a get info (cmd+i) on the FCP app icon. There’s a list of your installed plugins that you can turn on / off. You can also delete them and add them.
