  • Correct settings for footage 960 x 720 rendered in Final Cut

How do you set up the comp in AE with footage from Final Cut 960 x 720?

Why does AE not know how to handle these files?

    Thanks

960×720 sounds like it’s DVCPRO HD 720p (or something similar), which has a 1.33 pixel aspect ratio in order to reduce file size. Interpret your footage with a 1.33 PAR (select the footage and hit cmd-f on Mac, ctrl-f on PC).

In older versions of AE it was appropriate to interpret that material as 1280×720 square pixels. Try either.
