  • Correct sequence setting for 16×9 (sorry, forgot notification button)

    Hi guys,
We just finished a two camera shoot using DSR 450wsp pal cameras shooting 16×9 standard def. on DVCam.

My sequence setting for editing is –
Frame size 720×576 CCIR 601/DV PAL
Pixel Aspect Ratio PAL – CCIR 601 (720×576)

This seems to give a widescreen picture. Checking the anamorphic 16:9 box seems to squeeze the picture twice as much as necessary, giving an unacceptable result, so I’m now leaving it unchecked.

Does this sound correct or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks,

    Steve Newnham

A quick fix is to check the anamorphic column for the sequence.
