    Hi

I have a client who is back from shooting abroad with a Sony EX1, only to discover her shots have horrible natural light flickering.

We found how to avoid flickering for her next shooting (turn off flicker reduce). But we need to help her determine if her existing shots can be salvaged.

Usually we do rig removal, compositing, timewraps, (de)graining, etc… and such for clients. For this issue I was hoping a de-flickering plugin would do the trick. I tried S_FlickerRemove, Boris Continuum Complete Filter Fixer, and Furnace F_DeFlicker
Not one is close to acceptable results.

Can anybody recommend something, someone, some technique, or some studio that could do this ? Or if YOU can do it, can you give the sample a try and name your price per shot ?

    I have uploaded a sample here : https://www.michaelcinquin.com/ex1_flicker.mov
    thanks

    Michael

PS : yes, too bad the bug was not found until the shooting was over

Had the same problem while shooting in Europe. Never could fix it in post. Solved the problem the next time by changing shutter speed tk 1/50.
Hopefully somebody will have a fix in post for you.
