Corner tracking in Symphony
I have a shot where an image needs to be comped onto an iPad screen, but Corner Tracking in 3D Warp isn’t doing the trick. It tracks okay, but the image is going all out of whack. It doesn’t stay on the screen, or it’ll become massive and the corners go offscreen and the image would flip. For some reason, doing it manually with Corner Pin isn’t working either. If I set the keyframes manually at the first frame and continue manually adjusting each frame, the first frame won’t stay where I had set it. For some reason the keyframes aren’t set independently. If I’m just working on one frame and tacking one corner, the other corners will move on the same frame.
The shot is a little complicated because a child is holding the iPad horizontally and in landscape mode at first, then rotates it while lifting it up to show the screen an (almost) head-on shot of the iPad in portrait mode. If anyone could let me know what I’m doing wrong, I’d really appreciate it.
